I could say “I’m an award-winning entrepreneur, author and speaker.” but the truth is, I’m kind of a goofy guy who loves his family, feels like an imposter, and made dad jokes long before I became a father. One of the things I absolutely adore, however, is to do what I can to hold space for people to feel truly seen and heard. I live my life with a sense wonderment.

I’m trying my best to be a good father (which I succeed and fail at every day), husband (dito), social entrepreneur (perhaps more failure than success in this case) and human. Whether succeeding or failing, the one constant is that I always try to lean into my purpose and values.

Author: After threatening for years to write a book, in 2024 I actually did it! Working with the incomperable illustrator Funda May, we brought the story of “I love you, I trust you, I’m Proud of you” to the world.

Speaker: I’m humbled and honoured to have the opportunity to speak to groups, ranging from high-school kids to Olympians on messages that include: Listening to your authentic voice, The transformative power of sport, and Unconditional Self-Love.

Founder: I’m a co-founder of Placemaking 4G (P4G), an award-winning social enterprise that helps create workplaces people want to be, and people want to stay, through human-centred recruitment services along with workshops and e-learning aimed at creating cultures of belonging.

Meditation, mindfulness, spiritual and physical wellbeing have become a big part of my life, and if you want to have a conversation, I’m likely to ask you if you want to come over for a sauna. I’m a strong advocate for mental health, and am incredibly proud to be a founding member of the “Mounties for Mental Health”  initiative, supporting healthy dialogue and suicide awareness, intervention and prevention training at Mount Allison University.
